AGARWOOD - essential oil
'The wood of God'

Legend has it that Agarwood is the only plant Adam was allowed to take from the garden of Eden. Agarwood, also known as oud, oodh, agar, aloeswood or lign-aloes, is a dark resinous hardwood that forms in the Aquilaria and Gyrinops trees (large evergreens native to southeast Asia), and is reputed to be the most expensive wood in the world.
The resin embedded wood is commonly called gaharu, jinko, aloeswood, agarwood, or oud and is valued in many cultures for its divine properties and distinctive fragrance, and thus is used for incense and perfumes. The most important benefit of Agarwood lies in its healing properties. Traced back over the centuries and across many countries, its therapeutic essence has been proven to heal many diseases, as well as improving mental clarity and calming the mind.
