GREEN TEA - essential oil
Also known as Green tea oil or Tea seed oil, it is extracted from Camelia sinensis seeds

Green tea has been consumed in Asian countries such as India, China, Japan and Thailand for almost 5,000 years. Green Tea essential oil is extracted from the seeds of the green tea plant, Camellia Sinensis, and is also called Camellia Oil or Tea Seed oil. Its wonderful properties lend it therapeutic, cosmetic and health benefits.
When applied to the skin, hair or nails, green tea oil acts as a very powerful moisturizer. It is gentle enough to use on a baby’s skin, and may actually play a role in the prevention of infection and disease. Its benefits are similar to those of drinking steeped green tea leaves. It has been used for centuries as a stimulant, an astringent, a diuretic, and also to treat flatulence, to regulate body temperature and blood sugar, to promote digestion, and to improve mental and heart health.
