


MORINGA
'The miracle tree', 'mother's best friend and 'the never die tree'

Moringa oleifera (or Drumstick, Horseradish or Ben oil tree), belongs to the Moringaceae family. It is native to India and is widely cultivated in tropical and subtropical areas all over Asia, Africa and South America.
Moringa has been used across various cultures since ancient times and was valued by the Romans, Egyptians, Ayurvedic practitioners and Greeks for a range of ailments. Today, as the most nutrient rich plant known (with over 90 nutritional compounds), its usage has been encouraged by various humanitarian organisations to combat malnutrition in poverty-stricken regions.
